Whether you are going for LEED certification or just interested in cleaning in an environmentally preferable way, we can help you. With the assistance of our Suppliers, we can help you solve your cleaning problems. The real goal of Green Cleaning program is to create a healthy and productive indoor environment, while minimizing impacts on product users, building occupants and the environment.
Our “Green” package follows the guidelines set by LEED-EB and the US Green Building Council:
• Green Seal “Certified” or products that meet the standard set by Green Seal such as all purpose cleaners, glass cleaners, washroom cleaners and carpet extraction products.
• Floor finishes that are metal-free and that are durable to minimize stripping.
• High quality handsoap for public restrooms without added antimicrobial agents (i.e. Triclosan or PCMX). Waterless hand sanitizers that can be used where water is not available or where required by regulation such as in healthcare or food preparation.
• Paper products containing a high percentage of post-consumer recycled content and bleached without chlorine or chlorine compounds.
• Paper dispensers for hand towels that are hands-free (no cranks or levers).
• Trashcan liners that contain at least 10% recycled content, properly sized, and are the appropriate strength so one liner works without tearing.
• Vacuums that are “certified” by the Carpet & Rug Institute and that capture 96% of particles at 0.3 microns.
• Floor Machines that include active-vacuum attachments to capture the fine dust that is created when dry buffing and burnishing.
• Entryway mats that help capture dirt before it enters your building. It can cost more than $500 to remove one pound of dirt after it has been tracked into a building. Just 1,000 people coming though an entrance every day over a 20-day work period can track in up to 24 pounds of dirt.
• Recycling containers for your facility
• Automatic flushers, faucets and waterfree urinals to help conserve water and save money at the same time.
• Micro-fiber dusting clothes and flat mops that make floor cleaning easier and safer.
• Product training with the assistance of our Suppliers.
