Sustainability
Green Program
At Kelsan, we are doing our part to help sustain the environment. We are currently using biodiesel in a portion of our truck fleet, implementing ways to conserve energy in our facilities, and instituting recycling and green cleaning programs in our buildings.
Our mission is to train and equip people to effectively clean and supply facilities. We are taking this one step further with our “Kelsan Think Green” program. Our goal is to provide you, our customer, with the products and knowledge to “green” clean for a healthier environment.
Our Green Team, which includes two LEED-AP’s, is working constantly with our suppliers to improve our products and training selections. We have assisted with both LEED-EB Certifications (John J Duncan Federal Building and Bridgestone Firestone Warren County Plant) and Green Seal™ Cleaning Standard Certifications (University of Tennessee Knoxville). We have written the “Book on Green” which allows our customers to develop their own green cleaning programs.
